If You’re a Good Boy or Girl…

if you’re a good boy boy or girl

not just good, but “sanctified” and “saved”

if you say the words that need to be said

and do the things that need to be done

and believe the things that you need to believe

BUT WAIT!

you also need to NOT do the things that you shouldn’t do

and NOT say the things you shouldn’t say

and don’t swear or lie or cheat or be horny

AND

you tell people about the savior who helps you do all these things and NOT do all these things

THEN

you can avoid spending eternity burning forever

from spending a never-ending amount of time

having your flesh melted off your bones and from a thirst so encompassing

that it will walk you right up to the edge of death

AND

instead spend that eternity telling God how amazing he is

how thankful you are that he made you and let you choose to honor him

instead of burn forever

BUT

living in this tension will most assuredly give you lifelong anxiety

what if you aren’t doing enough?

what if you die on the way home?

what if you accidentally are horny and didn’t ask forgiveness?

DON’T WORRY!!

just try harder

pray

read

do

try

be better

and if you’re a good boy or girl you’ll be fine
